ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING FOUR TEN-
FOOT UTILITY EASEMENTS IN WEDGWOOD ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY,
TEXAS, THE SAME BEING ALONG THE COMMON LOT
LINES OF LOTS 12 AND 13, BLOCK 127-R, LOTS
1 AND 2, BLOCK 128, LOTS 4 AND 5, BLOCK 128,
AND LOTS 8 AND 9, BLOCK 128; AND PROVIDING
FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY
OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the four ten-foot utility easements along the
common lot lines of Lots 12 and 13, Block 127-R, Lots 1 and 2,
Block 128, Lots 4 and 5, Block 128, and Lots 8 and 9, Block
128, all in Wedgwood Addition to the City of Fort Worth,
Tarrant County, Texas, as recorded in Vol. 388-44, page 63,
and in Vol. 388-39, page 62, respectively, of the Plat Records
of Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same are hereby extin-
guished, vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as ease-
ments for public utilities.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the
fee to the land in said easements above described is hereby
released and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee
as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or pants of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.

MAY r Marshall W. Amis, Jr. , representing the Essex Company, owner of all adjoining
property, has requested the vacation of four 10 foot utility easements along the
common lot lines of Lots 12 and 13, Block 127-R, Lots 1 and 2, Block 128, Lots
4 and 5, Block 128 and Lots 8 and 9, Block 128, all in the Wedgwood Addition as
shown on the attached plat. These easements are no longer needed in their
present location. Other easements in a more suitable location will be obtained
by the City.
City departments and private utility companies have reviewed the subject request
and have voiced no objection to the proposed vacation.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed the request and recommends adoption of an
ordinance that has been prepared vacating the easements as requested.
City Council action on the City Plan Commission recommendation is requested.
