AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT PORTIONS OF CERTAIN ALLEYS
IN HUBBARD HIGHLANDS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED,
AND EXCEPTING " RIGHTS OF ALL PUBLIC UTILITIES HERETO-
FORE ACQUIRED IN SAID PORTIONS OF SAID ALLEYS, AND PROVID-
ING FOR MM REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND, AND RMTAL-
ING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING
THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IISMIATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY ME CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
,SECTION I.
That in order.to promote and protect the public safety, and
particularly the safety of public school pupils and teachers attending
the school or schools to be established by the Fort Worth Independent
School District on a school site which it has acquired in Hubbard Highlands
Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, the following
described portions of alleys in said Hubbard Highlands Addition shall be
and are hereby vacated, abandoned and closed, to wit:
Alley in Block 5, Hubbard-Highlands Addition to the City of Fort
Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, between Ryan Avenue and Sixth Avenue.
Alley in Block 4, Hubbard Highlands Addition to the City of Fort
Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, from the west line of Ryan Avenue
450 feet west.
Alley in Block 4, Hubbard Highlands Addition to the City of.Fort
Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, between Broadus Avenue and Beddell
Street.
SECTION II.
That the rights of all public utilities for the purpose of con-
structing and maintaining service lines shall not be disturbed, destroyed,
revoked, or abrogated by any of the provisions of this ordinance, but said
rights as above set out shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION III.
That all titles, easements and rights of the City of Fort Worth
in and to the above described portions of alleys shall be and are hereby
released and surrendered to the respective owners of the lots abutting
thereon.
SECTION IV.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
SECTION V.
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage.
