AND PROVIDING FOR THE R&tEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES
OR PORTIONS OF ORDINANCES IN C CUMICT HEREWITH.
PlHERELS, it appearing to the City Oouncil of the
City of Fort !forth that Hagler Avenue, lying between Lowden
Avenue and Cantey Avenue, has been closed for more than
twenty years and has never been used as a street or thor-
oughfare, and it is to the best interest of the public that
said street be closed, abandoned and vacated as a public
thoroughfare.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUN-1
OIL OF THE CITY OF FORT MORPH:
SECTION I.
That the part of Hagler Avenue from a point 135'
east of the east line of Lubbock Avenue to a point 1251 east
of the east line of Merida Avenue; that the part of Merida
Avenue in the City of Fort North from the north line of
Lowden Avenue to the south line of Hagler Avenue; that the
hart ion of the alley beginning on the north line of Lowden
Avenue and running north to the south line of Hagler Avenue,
in Blocx Two (2) , Pro spect Heights Addit ion, and au of said
streets, avenues and thoroughfares are hereby vacated, closed
and permanently abandoned as streets, avenues and public
thoroughfares of every kind or character.
SECTION I I.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION III.
That this ordinance sha.0 tale; effect and be in
full force and effect from and after the date of its pas-
sage.
