Since the sanitary sewerage system is now administered by the Fort Worth Water Department, it is proposed that regula- tions and procedures relating to sanitary sewer services, and protection of sanitary sewerage facilities, should be transferred to the Water and Sewer Section of the City Code, Chapter 37. A proposed Ordinance has been prepared to amend Article I and Article III of Chapter 7 of the City Code to include requirements for replacing or relocating sewer mains to be situated under proposed new buildings, procedures for con- struction of sewer taps/services, and charges for those facilities, and pro- cedures to be followed in securing construction of sanitary sewer taps/services. No changes have been made in the charges or other requirements. Recommendation It is recommended that the Ordinance amending Article I and Article III of Chapter 37 of the Code of the City of Fort Worth (1964) as amended, be adopted.
