Renewal Term No. 2: October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020
The above referenced Contract with the City of Fort Worth expires on September 30,2019
(the"Expiration Date"). Pursuant to Section 3 of the Contract,contract renewals are at the mutual
agreement of the parties. This letter is to inform you that the City is requesting to renew the
Contract for an additional one (1)year period, which will begin immediately after the Expiration
Date and which will expire on September 30,2020.All other terms and conditions of the Contract
remain unchanged.

THE CITY OF FORT WORTH AND TARRANT COUNTY FOR RABIES
CONTROL SERVICES

COMMISSIONERS COURT ACTION REQUESTED:
It is requested that the Commissioners Court approve a renewal of an Interlocal Agreement between
the City of Fort Worth and Tarrant County for Rabies Control Services.
BACKGROUND:
On January 24, 2017, the Commissioner's Court, through Court Order #124384, approved the
interlocal agreement with the City of Fort Worth for Rabies Control.
On September 19, 2017, the Commissioners Court, through Court Order #126155, approved an
amendment to the Interlocal Agreement which extended the term for one(1)year and clarified wording
of the Exhibit A fee schedule.
On June 26, 2018, the Commissioner's Court, through Court Order #127954, rescinded Court Order
#126155 and approved an amendment to the Interlocal Agreement that eliminated Exhibit A fee
schedule and replaced with a flat fee monthly payment,not to exceed $132,000.00 annually.
On September 18, 2018, the Commissioner's Court, through Court Order #128573, approved renewal
of the Interlocal Agreement for an additional one(1)year term.
With approval of the Interlocal Agreement renewal, the term will renewed for the second and final
year from October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020.
The Criminal District Attorney's Office has reviewed this document as to form.
FISCAL IMPACT:
All associated costs will be paid from funds in 567041/T0400-202Q/5100011000.
