MAY 169 2006
Date & Time On the 16th day of May,A.D., 2006, the City Council of the City
of Fort Worth, Texas, met in special session, at 11:25 a.m.,with
the following members and officers present:
Attendance Mayor Mike Moncrief; Mayor Pro tem Kathleen Hicks; Council
Members Salvador Espino, Chuck Silcox,Becky Haskin,Jungus
Jordan, Carter Burdette and Wendy Davis; City Manager
Charles Boswell; and City Attorney David Yett. Council
Member Donavan Wheatfall was absent. With more than a
quorum present, the following business was transacted:
Executive Session It was the consensus of the City Council that the City Council
meet in closed session at 11:25 a.m. to:
1. Seek the advice of its attorneys concerning the following
pending or contemplated litigation or other matters that are
exempt from public disclosure under Article X, Section 9 of the
Texas State Bar Rules, and as authorized by Section 551.071 of
the Texas Government Code:
a) City of Fort Worth vs. Hugh Turner, Cause No. 96-
178116-99;
b) City of Fort Worth vs. Flash Cash, Inc., d/b/a State
Metropolitan & County Services, and Michael A.
DiNapoli, Individually and as President of State,
Metropolitan & County Services and James
DiNapoli, Individually and as Agent of State,
Metropolitan & County Services, Cause No. 96-
209942-05 and No. 96-214653-05;
c) Legal issues concerning jail services contracts;
d) Legal issues concerning the regulation of gas
drilling;
e) Legal issues concerning the sale of city surplus
property;
f) Legal issues concerning D/FW Airport;
g) Legal issues concerning any item listed on today's
City Council meeting agendas; and

2. Deliberate the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real
property in accordance with Section 551.072 of the Texas
Government Code. Deliberation in an-open meeting would have
a detrimental effect on the position of the City in negotiations
with a third party; and
3. Deliberate economic development negotiations as
authorized by Section 551.087 of the Texas Government Code;
and
4. Deliberate the deployment, or specific occasions for
implementation, of security personnel or devices, in accordance
with Section 551.076 of the Texas Government Code.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at
12:40 p.m.
