AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT A PORTION OF McLENNAN AVENUE AND A PORTION OF AN UNNAMED STREET SEVEN HUNDRED SIXTY-THREE FEET EAST OF McLENNAN AVENUE IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED: PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND: REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH: AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE MIE- DIATELY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: Section 1. That the following described portions of certain streets be, and the same are, hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated as street or public thoroughfares of any kind or character whatever: McLennan Avenue, from the northerly line of Brennan Avenue to the southerly right of way line of the Texas and Pacific Railway, save and except easements be reserved for any and all existing utilities; All that portion of an Unnamed Street 763 feet east of McLennan Avenue, as recorded in Volume 388, Page 21 of the Tarrant County Deed Records from the north- erly line of Brennan Avenue to the southerly line of the Texas and Pacific Railway, save and except ease.. ments be reserved for any and all existing utilities. Section 2. That the fee to the land in said streets is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent owners as provided by law. Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage. Murray, Attorney 'fw the Gulf-oil Corporation, requbsting the closing of McLennan Avenue and the Unnamed Street appraix3Mately 763 feet east of McLennan Avenue from Brennan Avenue to the Texas d Pacific Railway. All interested parties have been contacted and no objections have been offeredlo this requested closing.
