HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 3088 ORDINANCE NO. 360 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE STREETS IN THE ORIGINAL PLATTING OF SOUTECREST ADDITION, AS FILED FOR RECORD IN THE COUNTY CLERK'S OFFICE OF TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, ON MAY 4, 1951, BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED; PRO- VIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEAL- ING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY.COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTS, TEXAS: SECTION •1.. That the following described streets in the original platting of Southcrest Addition, as filed for record in the County Clerk's Office of Tarrant County, Texas, on May 4, 1951, be and the same are hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated as streets or public thorough- fares of any kind or character whatever: Westcrest Drive south from Southcrest Drive to the north line of the proposed Southwest Loop. Wayside south from Southcrest Drive to the north line of the proposed Southwest Loop. Frazier south from Southcrest Drive to the north line of the proposed Southwest Loop. Townsend Drive south from Southcrest Drive to the north line of the proposed Southwest Loop. Gordon Avenue south from Southcrest Drive to the north line of the proposed Southwest Loop. An unnamed street beginning at Gordon Avenue and running southeasterly to Farm Market Road No. 731 and lying between Blocks 2 and 7, Southcrest Addition. An unnamed street running from Gordon Avenue south- easterly to Farm Market Road No. 731 and lying between Blocks 7 and S, Southcrest Addition, SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in said streets is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law, SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4.
