AN ORDINANCE PERMITTING FORT WORTH DRESSED BEEF
COMPANY, ITS SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS, TO LEAVE
THE EXISTING BUILDING FOR A MAXIMUM DISTANCE OF
78/100THS OF A FOOT .IN JONES STREET ALONG THE
EAST LINE OF LOTS 9 TO 14 INCLUSIVE, BLOCK E-3.
DAGGETT ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, SAID ENCROACHMENT
COMMENCING AT A STAKE IN THE CORNER OF 14TH
STREET AND JOP.ES STREET AND EXTENDING NORTH
ALONG JONES STREET FOR A SPACE OF 50.53 FEET.
WHEREAS, the Fort Worth Dressed Beef Company is the
owner of Lots 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14, Block E-3, Daggett Addi-
tion to the City of Fort Worth, Texas, along the East line of which
property an encroachment exists in Jones Street; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That Fort Worth Dressed Beef Company, the owner of
said land above described and the improvements thereon, or its
successors or assigns, be permitted to leave existing building
for a maximum distance of 78/100ths of a foot in Jones Street
along the East line of Lots 9 to 14, inclusive, Block E-3.
Daggett Addition to the 'ity of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas,
said encroachment commencing at a stake in the corner of 14th
Street and Jones Street and extending Northward along Jones Street
for a total of 50.53 feet; and that said improvements on said
above described real property be allowed to stand during the life
of said building, as same is now constructed, provided, however,
that in the event such building be demolished or major alterations
or repairs be made to said building in the future, same be re-
constructed to meet the requirements of the limits of the above
mentioned street.
SECTION 2.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is
so ordained.
