AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING
THAT CERTAIN SANITARY SEWER AND WATER LINE
EASEMENT WHOLLY WITHIN LOT 1-R, BLOCK 11,
LINWOOD ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH;
PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN
SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CON-
FLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING THAT THIS OR-
DINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described sanitary sewer and water
line easements wholly within Lot 1-R, Block 11, Linwood
Addition to the City of Fort Worth, be and the same are
hereby vacated, abandoned and permanently closed as utility
easements, said abandoned utility easements being more partic-
ularly described as follows:
BEING a 15' sanitary sewer easement in Lot 1-R, Block 11, of
Linwood Addition Revised, an Addition to the City
of Fort Worth, recorded in Volume 388, Page 781 of the
Deed Records of Tarrant County, Texas, and further des-
cribed as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the East line of University Drive
that is North 0 degrees 04 minutes West, 120.00' from
its intersection with the North line of Bristol Road;
THENCE along the East line of University Drive North 0
degrees 04 minutes West 15.0' to a corner;
THENCE leaving said line North 89 degrees 56 minutes
East 67.47' to a corner;
THENCE North 66 degrees 56 minutes East, 233.84' to a
corner;
THENCE South 64 degrees 46 minutes East, 279.45' to a
point in the Westerly line of a 5.0' utility easement
along the Southeasterly line of said Lot 1-R;
THENCE along said line South 46 degrees 16 minutes 45
seconds East, 32.30' to a corner;
THENCE South 56 degrees 55 minutes West, 5.59' to a
corner;
THENCE leaving said line North 64 degrees 46 minutes
West, 300.42' to a corner;
THENCE South 66 degrees 56 minutes West, 230.16' to a
corner;
THENCE South 89 degrees 56 minutes West, 70.53'
to the Place of Beginning and containing 8,952
square feet of land, more or less.
It is not the intention of the City Council to
abandon that certain north/south storm drain easement
20' in width crossing subject easement and further
not to include the 5' utility easement adjacent to
and along the west line of Lot 34, Block 11, Linwood
Addition and the south line of Lot 10, Block 11,
Linwood Addition.
AND
BEING a 15' water easement in Lot 1-R, Block 11, of
Linwood Addition Revised, an Addition to the City of
Fort Worth, recorded in Volume 388, Page 781 of the Deed
Records of Tarrant County, Texas and further described
as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the North line of Bristol Road
that is North 89 degrees 56 minutes East, 198.30' from
its intersection with the East line of University Drive
said point being in a curve to the right having a central
angle of 165 degrees a radius of 87.5' and a center bearing
north 89 degrees 56 minutes East;
THENCE leaving the North line of Bristol Road and along
said curve in a Northeasterly to Southeasterly direction
an arc distance of 251.98' to a corner;
THENCE South 74 degrees 56 minutes West, 15.0' to the
beginning of a curve to the left having a central angle of
165 degrees a radius of 72.5' and a center bearing South
74 degrees 56 minutes West;
THENCE along said curve in a Northwesterly to Southwesterly
direction an arc distance of 208.79' to a corner in the
North line of Bristol Road;
THENCE along said line South 89 degrees 56 minutes West,
15.0' to the PLACE OF BEGINNING and containing 3,456 square
feet of land, more or less.
It is not the intention of the City Council to abandon
that certain north/south storm drain easement 20' in
width crossing subject easement and further not to include
the 5' wide utility easement adjacent to and along the
north line of Bristol Road.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in the above described utility
easements is hereby released and will revert to the adjacent
owners as provided by law, SAVE AND EXCEPT that easements are
reserved for any and all existing utilities.

SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage and
it is so ordained.

The A. Pollard Simons Estate, Herman Puppel, Trustee, has requested that the
City vacate a sanitary sewer and a water line easement wholely within Lot 1-R,
Block 11, Linwood Addition. The subject easements, acquired by dedication,
contain a 10" sanitary sewer and a 2" water line.
City departments and private utility companies have reviewed this request.
The Water Department is satisfied with the requested vacation provided that
the sanitary sewer is relocated at the property owners' expense and if the
property owners requests, in -writing that the water line be abandoned.
These conditions have now been satisfied. Other reviewing City departments
and private utilities have no objections.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the subject easements
as requested.,
