BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PORT WORTH:
SECTION I.
That the appropriations for the ensuing fiscal year beginning
October 1, 192C and ending September 30, 192E for the different
departments and purposes of the City of Fort Worth be and
determined as follows: �-
I.

Lj3RARY DONATIONS AND CHARATIE$. ,
Library to be provided with a tag levy of 3 cents to the $"100.00
value; on the valuation of $152,000,000.00, this gives for Library
purposes $45,600.00
VI.
PARKS
Parks to be provided with a tax levy of 9 cents to the $100,00
value; on the valuation of $152,000,000.00, this gives for Park
purposes $136,800.00.
VII.
MISCELLANEOUS.
Miscellaneous 11,010.00
VIII.
RECREATION.
Recreation to be provided with a tax levy of 2 cents per $100.00
value on an assessed value of 4152,000,000.00, the tax for Re-
creation purposes amounts to $30,400.00.
IX.
W MUNICIPAL INDUSTRIES.
Water Department. -- This public utility is owned by the Eity of
Fort Worth and is self-supporting from revenue derived from the
operation of same, hence no appropriation.
X.
MUNICIPAL INDEBTEDNESS.
Municipal Indebtedness $518,168.37
XI.
MUNICIPAL 1MPROVEMPNTS.
Municipal Improvements $195,000.60
SECTION 2.
That the distribution and division of the above named appro-
priations be made in accordance with the budget of expenditures
submitted by the City Manager, and as revised by the City Council
in accordance with the provisions of the City Charter, and adopted
by the City Council, and which budget is on file in the office of
the City Secretary and Treasurer of the City of Fort worth, to
which reference is here made, and shall be considered in connection
with the expenditures of the above appropriation.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall not be presented for final pas-
dage until ten full days have elapsed after the date of the last
publication for which provision has been made in the preceding
section.
SECTION 4.
Should any part, portion, section or part of section of this
ordinance be declared invalid or inoperative or void for any
reason by any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision,
opinion or judgment shall in no way effect the remaining por-
tions, parts, sections or parts of sections of this ordinance,
which provisions shall be, remain and continue to be in full
force and effect.
SECTION 5.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
and effect from and after date of its final passage and publi-
cation as required by the Charter of the City of reort Wo-rth.
