CITY OF FORT ?FORTH, ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE "ASSESSING A PORTION
OF THE COST OF IMPROVEMENTS ON CANNON AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, FROM THE. EAST LINE OF HTMERSON STR^FT TO TH- WEST
LINE OF HF.MPHILL STREET, AGAINST THT OWN-TRS OF PROPERTY ABUTT-
ING THEREON AND THEIR PROPERTY AND PROVIDING FOR THE COLLECTION
OF SAID SPECIAL ASSESSUMT AND THE ASSIGNABLE CIRTIFICATES
EVIDENCING THE SAME".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THT BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF FORT T"ORTH,
THAT:
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of the City of Fort Worth, heretofore
on the 27th day of July, 1915, duly passe• a -ODD MCP numbered 479 , and
recorded on Page 235 Vol. G of the o sail Board, entitled an
, Ordinance *assessing a portion of the cost of improvements on Cannon Avenue, in
the Oity of Fort Worth, from the east line of Henderson Street to the West line
of Hemphill Street, against the owners of property abutting thereon and their
property and providing for the collection of said assessments and the assign-
able certificates evidencing the same*; and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance of Assessment is erroneous, the pro-rats, pert of
said cost against said owners being based on parking the said Cannon Avenue on
either side of said Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners of said City, heretofore, on the 22nd
day of June, 1915, duly passed a resolution, and recorded on Page 54, Vol. *Y*
,of the R7inutes of said Board, ordering the said Cannon Avenue to be parked in
the center; and
WHFRFAS, said error necessitation a change in the statement of the City
Engineer heretofore made concerning the said improvements and the cost thereof,
and necessitates a change in the subsequent action of the Board of Commissioners
thereon, and the passage of said Ordinance No. 479
NOW THEREFORE BF IT FUPTHER OPDAINFD BY THE BOADr) r)F CO''1,fISSION^RS AS
FOLLOWS, TO-:

That said Ordinance No. 479 , heretofore passed by the Board of Commissioners
on the 27th day of July, 1915, be and the same is hereby repealed and rescinded.
2.
� That the resolution of said Board of Commissioners of date the/3/h day of
a1Al+, , 1915, approving the written statement of the City Engineer ooncerning
the said improvements and the cost thereof, and the subsequent resolution finding
and declaring the necessity of assessing a portion of the cost of such improve-
ments against the owners of property abutting.thereon, and their property, be and
the same are hereby rescinded.
3.That this ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage.
I hereby certify th1t the above and foregoing Ordi-
nance was dul* presented and ananimously passed and adopted by the
Board of Commissioners at a session of said Board Held Tueaday Sep-
tember 28th, A. D. 1915.
