AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING THE DRAINAGE AND
UTILITY EASEMENT ALONG THE EAST LINE OF LOT 5-BR,
BLOCK 27, WESTOVER HILLS ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING
FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the drainage and utility easement along the east
line of Lot 5-BR, Block 27, Westover Hills Addition to the
City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, as recorded in
Vol. 388-26, page 80, of the Plat Records of Tarrant County,
Texas, be and the same is hereby extinguished, vacated,
closed and permanently abandoned as an easement for drainage
and public utilities.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee
to the land in said easement above described is hereby re-
leased and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as
provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
and effect from and after the date of its passage.

Ridgmar Development Company, owner of all adjoining property, has
requested vacation of the drainage and utility easement along the
east line of Lot 5-B, Block 27, Westover Hills Addition as shown
on the attached map. The easement is no longer required because
all utilities and drainage facilities have been relocated.
Private utility companies and the City Departments have reviewed
the request and do not object to the proposed vacation.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed the request and recommends
adoption of an ordinance that has been prepared vacating the ease-
ment as requested.
City Council action on the Plan Commission recommendation is requested.
