AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE EAST FIVE FEET
OF HALL0RAN STREET ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO
THE WEST LINE OF LOT 21, BLOCK 50, CHAMBERLIN
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, SECOND FILING, AN ADDITION
TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY,
TEXAS, BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED? PRO-
VIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST OF THE
CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LANDf REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HER WITH? AND PROVIDING
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the east five feet of Halloran Street adjacent and
contiguous to the west line of Lot 21, Block 50, Chamberlin
Arlington Heights, Second Filing, an addition to the City of
Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same is hereby
closed, abandoned and permanently vacated as a street or pub-
lic thoroughfare of any kind or character whatever, save and
except that easements are reserved for any existing utilities.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee
to the land in said street is hereby released and shall revert
to the adjacent owner of the fee as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.

HUMAN tE0 vacate the eist 5 feet of the 3600 Block of Halloran Street from the alley
1PARIERRE R DbIN,to Fletcher Avenue, a length of 125 feet adjacent to Lot 21, Block 50,
Chamberlin Arlington Heights, Second Filing, as shown on the attached map.
WALLS Halloran Street has a dedicated right-of-way of 60 feet which is 10 feet
greater than that needed for a minor residential street.

Subject right-of-way, acquired by dedication, contains a 4-foot encroach-
ment into the unimproved parkway, but contains no public facilities. The
reviewing City departments and private utility companies have no objections
to this request provided the vacated right-of-way is replatted with the
adjoining properties.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends that an
ordinance be adopted vacating subject right-of-way as requested. A satis-
factory replat has been submitted to the City staff.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject -right-of-way
as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
