An Ordinance amending Ordinance No. 340 by adding
thereto Section 88-C, placing within the fire limits Block
18 pf Jennings South Addition to the City of Fort Worth, add
--=;k1mg the stiae subject to all the terms and pxo$isions of
said Ordinance No. 340 and fixing a penal$y by re-enacting
Section 111 of said Ordinance No. 340,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF FORT WORTH,
SECTION 1. Ordinance No. 340 is hereby amended by
adding thereto Section 88-C, as follows:
SECTION 88-.C. There shall hereafter be included
in the fire limits of the City of Fort Worth, and subject
to the terms and provisions of Ordinance No.' 340, the fol-
lowing described portion of the territory of said City;
Beginning at the North east corner of 81ack-18-U-emrtngs- 'Soath-
Addition to the City of Fort Worth, at the junction of Jarvis
Street and Jennings Avenue; thence South along the East pro-
perty line of said Block 18, 800-3/10 feet to the North
line of West Daggett Avenue; thence West along the North
line of West Daggett Avenue 447 feet to the East line of
Hemphill Street; thence North along the East line of Hemphill
Street 800-3/10 feet to the South line of Jarvis Street; thence
East along the South line of Jarvis Street to the place of
beginning; the same being Block 18 of Jennings South addition.
SECTION ;1. Section III of said Ordinance 340 is
heriFy re-enacted and le-e-fared to be applicable to 0,11 vio-
lations of Section 88-C as above set forth;
SECTION 111. Any person or persons, firm or corp-
oration violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance
or failing to conform to any of the proviaions thereof, or
failing to obey any order of the Building Inspector or Chief
of the Fire Department or Fire Marshall or Board of
Appeal in pursuance thereof shall be subject to a penalty
or a fine of not less than Five Dollars ($5.00) , nor more
than Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) , the same to be in the
discretion of the Spurt, dependent upon the character of the
act involved, and the continued violation shall constitute
a separate offense. Any architect, civil engineer,, builder,
plumber, oarpenter, mason, contractor, sub—contractor,
foreman or employe who shall assist in the violation of
this Ordinance or of any order or permit issued thereunder,
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction.there—
of shall be subject to the penalties above specified.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and
be in force from and after it's passage and publication as
required by law.
I hereby certif$ that the above and foregoing Ordinance
was duly presented, passed and adopted by the Board of Com-
missioners of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, at a Regular
session of said. Board held January 20th, A. D. 1921.
