HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 5192 ORDINANCE NO. 579 Z- AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3011, BEING AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE AND RESTRICT THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES, AND LAND FOR TRADE, INDUSTRY, RESIDENCE, OR OTHER PURPOSES, THE HEIGHT, NUMBER OF STORIES AND SIZE OF BUILDINGS AND OTHER STRUCTURES, THE SIZE OF YARDS AND OTHER OPEN SPACES, OFF-�STRERT PARKING AND LOADING AND THE DENSITY OF POPULATION; AND FOR SAID PURPOSES TO DIVIDE THE MUNICIPALITY INTO DISTRICTS OF SUCH NUMBER, SHAPE AND AREA AS MAY BE DEEMED BEST BY FIXING DEFINITE USES OF TEE BUILDINGS HEREINAFTER ERECTED IN SAID DESCRIBED AREAS FROM THE USES AS SHOWN ON THE MAPS CONTAINED IN SAID ORDINANCE NO. 3011, PRESCRIBING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A FINE OF NOT LESS THAN $5.00 NOR MORE THAN $200.00 FOR EACH OFFENSE, AND THAT EACH DAY THAT A VIOLATION IS PERMITTED TO EXIST SHALL CONSTITUTE A SEPARATE CFFENSE; AND NAMING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. OFFICIAL RECORD BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: CITY SECRETARY SECTION 1. FT. WORTH, TEX. That Ordinance No. 3011 be amended so that the following described uses in the hereinafter described areas be altered, changed and amended as follows to wit: No. 63-Z-135CC: Tract 12-B (City Tax Records) out of the J. Brandon Survey: Beginning at a point in the westerly right-of-way line of Interstate Highway I-820, said point being 208.85 ft. northeasterly of the northwest corner of East Meadowbrook Drive and Interstate Highway I-820, Thence North Oo a distance of 199.14 ft. to a point for corner; Thence West along a line 380.4 ft. north of and parallel to the north right-of-way line of Meadowbrook Dr., a distance of 199.63 ft. to a point for corner; Thence South Oo a distance of 230.4 ft. to a point for corner; Thence East along a line 150 ft. north of and parallel to the north right-of-way line of Meadowbrook Dr., a distance of 60 ft. to a point for corner; Thence South 00 a distance of 150 ft. to the north line of Meadowbrook Drive; Thence East along the north line of Meadowbrook Dr. a distance of 36.7 ft. to the northwest corner of Meadowlrook Dr. and I.H.I-820; Thence northeasterly along the westerly line of I.H. I-820, to the point of beginning. FROM "A" TO "E". (6203 Meadowbrook Dr.) No. 63-Z-136CC: Tract 12-A (City Tax Records) out of the J. Brandon Survey: Beginning at a point in the north right-of-way line of East Meadowbrook Dr., said point being 36.7 ft. west of the northwest corner of East Meadowbrook Dr. and Interstate Highway I-820; Thence North Oo a distance of 150 ft. to a point for corner; Theme Vilest along a line 150 ft. north of and parallel to the north right-of-way line of Meadow-brook Drive, a distance of 60 ft. to a point for corner; Theme South Oo a distance of 150 ft. to a point in the north line of Meadowtrook Dr; Thence East along the north line of Meadowbrook Drive to the point of beginning. (6201 Meadowbrook Drive). FROM "A" TO "E". SECTION 2. The zoning regulations and districts, as herein established, have been made in accordance with the comprehensive plan for the purpose of promoting health, safety, morals and the general welfare of the community. They have been designed to lessen congestion in the streets; to secure safety from fire, panic, flood and other dangers; to provide adequate light and air; to prevent overcrowding of land; to avoid undue concentration of population; to facilitate the adequate provision of transportation, water, sewerage, parks and other public requirements. They have been made after a full and complete public hearing with reasonable consideration, among other things, of the character of the district and its peculiar suitability for the particular uses and with a view of conserving the value of buildings and encouraging the most appropriate use of land throughout the community. ¢ TION 3. This ordinance shall be cumulative of all other ordinances of the City of Fort Worth affecting zoning and shall not repeal any of the provisions of said ordinance except in those instances where provisions of those ordinances are in direct conflict with the provisions of this ordinance. - SECTION 4. Should any section, clause or provision of this ordinance be declared by the court to be invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any part thereof, other than the part so declared to be invalid. SECTION 5. Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than five and no/100 dollars ($5.00) nor .more than two hundred and no/100 dollars ($200.00) for each offense. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. SECTION 6. This Ordinance will take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as required by law. APPROVED AS TO FORM AND LEGALITY: City Attorney Adopted: �����t� •
