FOOT UTILITY EASEMENT ABUTTING LOTS 30 AND 31,
IN BLOCK 1, WELBORN VIEW ADDITION TO THE CITY
OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS; AND PRO-
VIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST OF THE
CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the hereinafter described utility easement be and
the same is hereby extinguished, vacated, closed and permanent-
ly abandoned as an easement for public utilities:
Being a 15 feet by 161 feet strip of land
crossing Lots 30 and 31, Block 1, Welborn View
Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant
County, Texas, said strip of land being 7.5 feet
from and parallel to the following described
centerline:
Beginning at the common lot corner of said
Lots 30 and 31, said point being in the 50 foot
radius cul-de-sac right-of-way of Watson Road;
Thence N. 10059'56" W. a distance of 161 feet
along the west line of said Lot 30 and the east
line of Lot 31 to a point in the south line of
an existing 15 foot sanitary sewer and utility
easement for the end of said 15 foot easement
herein described.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee
to the land in said easement above described is hereby released
and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as provided
by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.

ROIN' .Welborn Mortgage Company, owners of all abutting property, has requested
that the City vacate the 15-foot wide easement in Block 1, Welborn View
Addition, a length of approximately 160 feet abutting Lots 30 and 31 from
the east/west easement southward to Watson Road, as shown on the attached
TF r, map.
s Subject easement, acquired by dedication, is not in use and contains no
public facilities. Reviewing City departments and private utility companies
have no objections to this request provided a satisfactory replat of the
property is submitted to City staff.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends that an
ordinance be adopted vacating subject easement as requested. A satisfactory
replat has been submitted to City staff.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject easement
as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
