F2' AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH; PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED IN A DAILY NEWS- PAPER PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PRO- VISIONS OF SECTION 40, CHAPTER =II OF THE CITY CHARTER; AND PRESCRIBING AN EFFECTIVE DATE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds as follows: Being a part of the Texas and Pacific Railway Company's Survey No. 1, Block No. 1, and adjacent to the existing city limits of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a southwest corner in the present city limits of Fort Worth, said corner being the southwest corner of the T. B. Taylor Survey and the southeast corner of the J. Armendaris Survey; thence south 89 degrees 14 minutes west along the south line of the J. Armendaris Survey and the north line of the T. & P. Railway Company Survey a distance/of 413.2 feet to the southeast line of the Fort Worth to Granbury Road; thence south 41 degrees 45 minutes west along said road line ap- proximately 525 feet to a stake in the southeast line of said Fort Worth to Granbury Road, at the most westerly corner of Lot 16, Block 17, Kellis Park Addition; thence south 8 degrees 36 minutes east 93.4 feet to a stake, the most southerly corner of Lot 16, Block 17 of Kellis Park Addition, and in the north right of way line of Southwest Boulevard; thence south 68 degrees 36 minutes east, along the north right of way line of Southwest Boulevard, 139.5 feet to a stake; thence south 73 degrees 32 minutes east, continuing along the north right of way line of South- west Boulevard, 1085 feet to a stake; thence south 72 de- grees 46 minutes east, continuing along said north right of way line of Southwest Boulevard, 8" feet to a stake in the east line of said T. & P. Railway Company Survey No. 1, Block No. 1; thence north along the east line of said T. & P. Railway Company Survey 1135 feet to the present city limit line, in the south line of the T. B. Taylor Survey; thence west along the present city limit line and the line between the said T. B. Taylor and T. & P. Railway Company Surveys approximately 1250 feet to the place of beginning, containing approximately 35-3/4 acres. 7 �� s SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published one time in the Fort Worth Star- Telegram, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in ac- cordance with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XXVIII of the City Charter. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and ef- fect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty (30) days from the date of its publication as aforesaid, and it is so or- dained.
