DISCUSSION: On January 18, 2005, (M&C C-20492) the City Council authorized the City Manager to execute a contract with for consulting services with URS Corporation in the amount of $299,880, to update the FAR Part 150 Noise Compatibility Study for Fort Worth Alliance Airport. The City Council approved Amendment No. 1 for $138,058, (M&C C-21390) on April 4, 2006, to conduct noise monitoring for custom profiles of military aircraft.
