AN ORDINANCE REFERRING BIDS FOR THE IMPROVD ENT OF A
PORTION OF MONMIERY STREET
IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, TO THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
FOR A REPORT THEREON
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS
SECTION 1•
That Bids for the construction of improvements on Montgomery Street, from
the northerly line of West Vickery Boulevard to the southerly line of West
Lancaster, save and except the freeway construction between the approximate
southerly line of West Rosedale and the approximate southerly line of Calmont
Avenue, in the City of Fort Worth, Texas, having on the 14th day of February,
1957, been opened and read and the following persons had filed bids for the
performance of such work or part thereof, to-wit:
1. Worth Construction Company, Fort Worth, Texas
2. Texas Bitulithic Company, Fort Worth, Texas
3. General Construction Company, Fort Worth, Texas
that such Bids be and the same are hereby referred to the Public Works Department,
which is directed to cause to be promptly filed with the City Council a report
and recommendation thereon.
SECTION 2.
That this Ordinance shall take effect from and after its passage.
