AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT ALL THAT PORTION
OF SANDAGE AVENUE (60 FEET IN WIDTH) LYING
NORTH OF LOWDEN STREET AND SOUTH OF A TEN
FOOT STRIP OF LAND ALONG THE NORTH BOUNDARY
LINE OF BLOCKS 2 AND 3, PROSPECT HEIGHTS AD-
DITION TO THE CITY OF FORT MRTH, TARRANT
COUNTY, TEXAS, BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND
CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE
FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HERF4VITH; AND PROVIDING THAT THIS
ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMEDIATELY.
i�HERE�iS, the following described portion of Sandage Avenue has never
been used by the public and would cohstitute a menace to the public travel,
and therefore should be closed, vacated and abandoned:
All that portion of Sandage Avenue (60 feet in width)
lying north of Lowden Street and south of a ten foot
strip of land along the north boundary line of Blocks
2 and 3, Prospect Heights Addition to the City of Fort
Worth, Tarrant County, Texas;
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the following described portion of Sandage Avenue be and the
same is hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated as a street or pub-
lic thoroughfare of any kind or character whatever:
All that portion of Sandage Avenue (60 feet in width)
lying north of Lowden Street and south of a ten foot
strip of land along the north boundary line of Blocks
2 and 3, Prospect Heights Addition to the City of Fort
Worth, Tarrant County, Texas.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in said street shall revert as provided by
law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 4,
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage.
