APPRWD AS TO FORM AND LEGALITY: City Attorney Mr. Brownlee City of Fort Worth, Texas ': se(s) Mr. Baker Mayor and Council Communicaq* Mr. Bay Iightower DATE REFERENCE SUBJECT: Proposed Closing - Un-named PAGE NUMBER Street in the Rivercrest Addition 6/20/64 PZ-106 t of 1 Owners of abutting property on an un-named street in Block 16, Rivercrest Addi- tion, extending from the south line of White Settlement Road to the Trinity River, have requested that the 30 foot wide dirt road be abandoned. An abutting trailer park uses the road, and its owners wish to make paving improvements pro- viding better entrance and exit facilities. Other uses of the roadway besides the trailer park appear to be limited to fishermen. The Tarrant County Water Control and Improvement District No. l has used the road for access to the river, but reports the access is not needed because the area is served by other routes. The City Public Works, Water, Traffic Engineering, and Planning Departments have no objection to the proposed closing, provided a 15 foot wide easement is reserved for an existing 24 inch sanitary sewer which crosses the roadway ap- proximately 150 feet north of the north bank of the Trinity River. The private utility companies have nq facilities located in the street and do not object to the proposed closing. On May 13, 1964, the City Plan Commission reviewed the request and recommended adoption of an ordinance abandoning the street, provided an easement is reserved for the existing sanitary sewer line. 3LB:GA Owners: Mr. and Mrs. A.H.
