HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 495 ORDINANCE NO AN ORDIlIANCDE PROHIBITING THE CLIMBING OR ASCENDIATG OF ANY TELEGRAPH, TELEPHONE, STREET RAILWAY, ELE6r TRIO LIGHT, ELECTRIC POWER, OIt ELECTRIC CURRENT POLE OR TOWER BY ANY PERSON EXCEPTING MUILOYEES IN TIE 2IBCHARGE OF THEIR DUTIES, AND FIXING A PENALTY. BE IT ORDAIIv'ED BY THE BOARD OF COMiTiISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH: Sec. 1. It shall hereafter be unlawful for any person to climb or ascend any telegraph, telephone, street railway, electric light, electric power, or electric wire or wires strung thereon, or attached thereto, or connected therewith, situ�nted in or upon any of the streets, sidewalks, alleys or public places of the City of Fort Worth; PROVIDED, however, that nothing in this section shall be so construed as to prohibit any employee or employees of any telephone, street railway, telegraph, electric light, electric power or electric current company from climbing ar ascending any said pole or tower of any such companies in the proper discharge of their duties. Sec. 2. Any person ax�aes violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemdd guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon convictiony: whall be fined in any sum not less than ten nor more than one hundred dollars. Sec. 3. This ordinance shall be in force and effect, from and after its passage and publication as required by law.
