ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE 4122 HERE-
TOFORE PASSED ON THE 26TH DAY OF JUNE, 1959, BY THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, DETERMINING
THE NECESSITY FOR AND ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENT OF A
PORTION OF STALCUP ROAD, BY REDEFINING AND REDELINEATING
THAT PORTION OF THE STREET TO BE IMPROVED; REENACTING
ALL OF THE OTHER TERMS AND PROVISIONS OF SAID ORDINANCE
4122; DIRECTING THE CITY SECRETARY TO PREPARE AND FILE
NOTICE OF THE ENACTMENT HEREOF WITH THE COUNTY CLERK OF
TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS; AND MAKING OTHER PROVISIONS RE-
LATING TO THE SUBJECT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH:
Section 1
That the ordinance heretofore passed, approved and enact-
ed by the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, Texas, on the
26th day of June, 1959, which ordinance is Ordinance No. 4122, de-
termining the necessity for and ordering the improvement of a por-
tion of Stalcup Road, is hereby amended so as to redefine and rede-
lineate that certain street and so as to describe said unit as is
set forth below:
UNIT STREET OR AVENUE FROM TO
2 Stalcup Road Northerly line of S-outher-ly ling PL Ramey
Fitzhugh Street Street to the East
Section 2
It is hereby determined that there exists a public neces-
sity to permanently Improve the portion of the above described street
within the limits above described, and said street is so ordered to
be improved in the manner and to the extent and subject to all the
provisions of the aforementioned ordinance 4122, passed and approved
on the 26th day of June, 1959, which ordinance, except as hereby
amended, is to remain in full force and effect.
Section 3
The City Secretary is hereby directed to cause to be pre-
pared a notice of the enactment of this ordinance and to file said
notice with the County Clerk of Tarrant County, Texas, for recording
in the Deed of Trust Records of said County.
Section 4
This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and
effect from and after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained.

Previous Steps taken in this connection are as follows:
1 . Ordinances ordering the paving were adopted June 26, 1959;
2. Report of Public Works Director approved June 26, 1959;
3. Ordinance No. 4148 approving the specifications adapted
June 26, 1959;
4. Advertised July 9, 1959; Bids received August 6, 1959;
5. Tabulation of Bids submitted;
6. Ordinance No. 4182 awarding the contract to R. W. Gibbins,
Inc. on its low bid of $356,607.05, adopted September II , 1959
7. Report of Director of Finance submitted September 11 , 1959.
It is recommended that November 20, 1959, at 9:00 A.M. be set as the date
for the Benefit Hearing.
