AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF FORT WRTH; PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED IN A DAILY NEWSPAPER PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 40, CHAPTER XXVIII OF THE CITY CHARTER; AND PRESCRIBING AN EFFECTIVE DATE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being situated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds as follows: Beginning at a point in the easterly right of way line of County Road No. 3104, said road being commonly known as the Souder-Hurst Road, said point being also in the southerly right of way line of State Highway No. 183, said point being identified as the point of intersection of the easterly right of way line of said County Road No. 3104 and the southerly right of way line of State Highway No. 183; Thence in an easterly direction and in a northeasterly direction along said southerly right of way line of State High- way No. 183 to a point in the southerly right of way line of County Road No. 3005, said County Road being commonly desig- nated as the Hurst-Pipeline Road, said point being further iden- tified as the point of intersection of the southerly right of way line of State Highway No. 183 and the southerly right of way line of County Road No. 3005; Thence west along a projection of the southerly right of way line of said County Road No. 3005 to a point 10 feet from the southerly right of way line of State Highway No. 183; Thence in a southwesterly direction and a westerly direction along a line parallel to and 10 feet northerly from the southerly right of way line of said State Highway No. 183 to a point, said point being the point of intersection of this line and a northerly projection of the east right of way line of County Road No. 3104, said point being further identified as being 10 feet north of the southerly right of way line of said State Highway No. 183; Thence south to the place of beginning. SECTION 2. That this ordinance shall be published one time in the Fort Worth Press, a daily newspaper published in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XXVIII of the City Charter. SECTION 3. That this ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and effect upon its final passage, which in no event shall be less than thirty (30) days from the date of its publication as aforesaid, and it is so or- dained.
