AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING TITS FIFTEEN
FOOT SANITARY SEWER EASEMENT CROSSING BLOCKS 2
AND 5 OF NEWELL'S INDUSTRIAL ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXASt AND
PROVIDING FOR THE RMVBRSION OF THE FEE TO SAID
LAND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT NORTH, TEXASt
SECTION 1.
That the fifteen foot sanitary sewer easement crossing
Blocks 2 and 5 of Newell's Industrial Addition to the City
Of Fort Worth, Tarrant COUnty, Texas, be and the same is
hereby extinguished, vacated, closed and permanently abandoned
as an easement for sanitary newer facilities.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee
to the land in said easement above described is hereby re-
leased and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as
provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION a.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.

Mr. Jack Newell, owner of all adjoining property, has requested the vacation
of the 15-foot sanitary sewer easement crossing Blocks 2 and 5 of Newell's
Industrial Addition, as shown on the attached map. The easement is no longer
needed because the sanitary sewer has been relocated to a location that would
permit greater land use by the developer . Private utility companies and City
departments have reviewed the request and do not object to the proposed vaca-
tion. The City Plan Commission reviewed the request and recommended adoption
of an ordinance vacating the easement as requested.
City Council action on the City Plan Commission recommendation is requested.
