HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 7195 ORDINANCE 1170. _ AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT SALISBURY AVENUE FROM THE EAST LINE OF HUTCHINSON STREET EASTWARD TO THE EAST LINES OF LOT 4, BLOCK 25, AND LOT 5, BLOCK 26, DIAMOND HILL ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS, BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE- WITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Salisbury Avenue from the east line of Hutchinson Street eastward to the east lines of Lot 4, Block 25, and Lot 5, Block 26, Diamond Hill Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, be and the same is hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated as a street or public thoroughfare of any kind or character whatever, save and except that easements are reserved for any and all exist- ing utilities. SECTION 2. That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee to the land in said street is hereby released and shall re- vert to the adjacent owner of the fee as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage.
