An ordinance reducing and narrowing the width of Samuels
Avenue from an Eighty (80) to a Forty (40) foot street, from a
point in said Avenue near the North-west corner of the old cemetery

thereby cheating park ways and placing -same under the supervision
of the"P&Tk Board',' and repealing all laws and parts of laws in con-
flict herewith.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY
OF FORT WORTH;
Section 1. That Samuels Avenue, a public thoroughfare in
the City of Fort Worth be, and the same is hereby reduced and narrowed
from an Eighty (80) to a Forty (40) foot street, beginning at a
point near the North-west corner of the old cemetery where Samuels
Avenue widens F_nDr:: a Sixty (50) to an Eighty (80) -feet
and extending North along said Avenue to where same intereeots with
the North line of the J. J. Woody Survey.
Section 2. That the space of Twenty (20) feet on each side
of the said Samuels Avenue and between the North-west corner of the
old cemetery and the North line of the J. J. 'Woody Survey, existing
by virtue of the reduction of the width of said street, is hereby
set apart as a park way, and* the care, control and management of
same is hereby placed under the direction and supervision of the
"Park Board" of the City of Fort Worth.

Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage and publication as required by
law.
I hereby centtfy that the above and foregoing 0i*dinance was dUly
presented and unanimously passed by the Board of Commissioners of the
City of Fort Worth at a session held gaturdsy May 15tht1909.
