ORDINANCE ACCEPTING IO ROVEMENTS ON A PORTION OF BSLLINGSP
AND COLLIER STREETS AND DIRACTING THE ISSUANCE AND DNLIVERY
OF CERTIFICA IS IN EVIDENCE OF SPECIAL ASSIMMENTS LEVIED.
WHEREAS, her6tofore the City of Fort Borth entered into a contract
with General Uonstraction Company for the making and constructing of certain
streets improvement bn the following portion of streets in said City, To—nit:
bALLINGER STREET, from the South Line of West Seventh Street
to the North Line of West Tenth Street.
COLLIER STREET, from the South Line of West Seventh Street to
the North Line of West tenth Street.
WHEREAS, subsequent thereto by ordinance passed and approved by the
City Uouncil assessments, payable to General Construction Company, were
levied against the abutting properties on said portion of streets and the
owners thereof in payment of a part of the cost of making and constructing such
Improvements; and,
WHEREAS, The Director of Public Works has filed his report with the
City Council, to the effect that General Construction Company has completed
the work of making and comtructing such improvements on said portion of
streets in strict accordance with the contract, plans and specifications for
such improvements, and based on such report it is found that such improvements
on said portion of streets have been inspected and found to be completed with
accordance with the contract therefore; and,
WHEREAS, The Lirector of Public Works has found that certain of such
assessments are entitled to engineering credits and such credits are shown on
report of said Director of Public Works on file in the office of the City
Secre tar y;TMIMFORE,
BE IT MAIM) BY THis CITY COUNCIL OF Us', CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS, THAT:
I.
The Improvements on said portion of said streets, be and they are
hereby accepted, and the contract with reference to the construction of such
improvements found and declared to be completed and performed by General
Construction Company.
II.
The Mayor be, and he is hereby, directed to issue and execute in
the name of the City, certificates in evidence of the special assessments
(such certificates as are entitled to credits thereon as per report of the
Director of Public Works to show such credits thereon) and the City Secretary
is directed to execute same and impress the corporate seal thereon, all in
accordance with the proceedings relating to such improvements and assessments,
and such certificates when so executed shall be delivered by the City
Secretary to said General Construction Company.

This Ordinance shall take effect andbe in force from and after its
passage*
