AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING THE AERIAL
EASEMENT ACROSS THE NORTHWESTERLY SIDE OF LOT
1-R,, BLOCK 66, WESTERN HILLS ADDITION, SECTION
NO. 5, AS FILED IN THE PLAT RECORDS OF TARRANT
COUNTY, TEXAS IN VOL. 388-17, AT PAGE 91; AND
PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST OF
THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID EASEMENT.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the following described aerial easement across
the northwesterly side of Lot 1-R, Block 66, Western Hills
Addition, Section No. 5, as filed in the Plat Records of Tar-
rant County, Texas, in Vol. 388-17, at page 91, be and the
same is hereby extinguished, vacated, closed and permanently
abandoned:
Beginning at a point in the westerly right
of way line of San Marcos Drive, said point
being 5 feet southeasterly of the most northerly
corner of Lot 1-R, Black 66, Western Hills Ad-
dition, Section No. 5; thence southwesterly
along a straight line 5 feet from and parallel
to the northwesterly line of said Lot 1-R, to
a point 5 feet easterly, measured at right
angles, of the southwesterly line of said Lot
1-R; thence easterly along a straight line to
a point in the westerly right of way line of
San Marcos Drive, said point being 25 feet south-
easterly of the most northerly corner of said
Lot 1-R; thence northwesterly along a straight
line a distance of 20 feet to the point of be-
ginning.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the
air space above said land and in the fee to the land in said
easement above described is hereby released and shall revert
to the adjacent owner of the fee as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.

E. E. Cloer, developer of Western Hills Addition, has requested that the aerial
easement across the northerly side of Lot 1-fit, Block 66, Western Hills Addition,
Sec. 5, which is no longer needed, be abandoned as shown on the attached plat.
Private utilities, and the Traffic Engineering Department, the only City Depart-
ment concerned with aerial easements, have been contacted and do not object to
the proposed abandonment.
On July 8, 1964, the City Plan Commission reviewed the request and recommended
adoption of an ordinance abandoning the easement as requested.
