HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 2997 ORDINANCE NO. 299 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2082, BEING AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE AND RESTRICT THE LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES, AND LAND FOR TRADE, INDUSTRY, RESIDENCE, OR OTHER PURPOSES, THE HEIGHT, NUMBER OF STORIES, AND SIZE OF BUILDINGS AND OTHER STRUCTURES, THE SIZE OF YARDS AND OTHER OPEN SPACES, AND THE DENSITY OF POPULATION, AND FOR SAID PURPOSES TO DIVIDE THE MUNICIPALITY INTO SUCH DISTRICTS OF NUMBER, SHAPE AND AREA AS MAY BE DEEMED BEST BY FIX- ING DEFINITE USES OF THE BUILDINGS HEREINAFTER ERECTED IN SAID DESCRIBED AREAS FROM THE USES AS SHOWN ON THE MAPS CONTAINED IN SAID ORDINANCE NO. 2082; PRESCRIBING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A FINE OF NOT LESS THAN $5.00 NOR MORE THAN $50.00 FOR EACH OFFENSE, AND THAT FACE DAY THAT A VIOLATION IS PER- MITTED TO EXIST SHAIL CONSTITUTE A SEPARATE OFFENSE; AND NAMING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 2082 be amended so that the following described uses in the hereinafter described areas be altered, changed and amended as follows to wit: RECOMMENDED CHANGE AREAS FROM TO Tract of land bounded on the north by Trail Lake Drive, on the east by Old Grandbury Road, on the west by the Santa Fe Railway and on the south by the City Limits "B" "E" (4500 block of Trail Lake Drive) Lots 1 through 10, Block 15; and Lots 11 through 20, Block 14, Forty Oaks Addition "CK "F" (5500 block of Beaty Street) Lot B, Fidelity Trust Company Subdivision and 3490' of W177.81 of Tract 8, Fidelity Trust Company Subdivision "B" & "C" "E" (5000 block of E. Lancaster Avenue) r Lots 5 and 6, Block 5; and Lot 3, Block 6, East Rosedale Heights Addition; 31351 of Lot 2, C. S. Devoll Addition; and the S1351 of the W1101 of Tract 69, P. H. Ahler survey nBn "E" (4700 block of E. Rosedale) A Tract 1-A-2 and the W2001 of Tract 1-A-3 in the Isaac Schrum Survey except the proposed right-of-way for the widening of Benbrook Highway No. 377, being a triangle 800 feet long along the highway and 50 feet on the north end. Should any section, clause or provision of this ordinance be declared by the Court to be invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of the Ordinance as a whole or any part thereof, other than the part so declared to be invalid. SECTION 3. Any person,firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than Five and No/100 Dollars (45.00) nor more than Fifty and No/100 Dollars ($50.00) for each offense. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense. SECTION 4. This Ordinance will take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage by publication as required by law.
