AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT BRANDIES STREET FROM THE SOUTH LINE OF ENNIS STREET TO THE OLD TRINITY RIVER CHANNEL BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVID- ING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That Brandies Street from the south line of Ennis Street to the Old Trinity River Channel be and the same is hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated as a street or pub- lic thoroughfare of any kind or character whatever, save and except that an easement is retained centered on the existing 72-inch sanitary sewer main crossing said Brandies Street. SECTION 2. That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee to the land in said street is hereby released and shall revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as provided by law. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage. Fuchshuber, owner of all adjoining property, has requestedllMbNE vacation of Brandies Street which is not open on the ground from the south line of Ennis Street to the Old Trinity River Channel as shown on the afuo tached map. Approval of the request will permit use of this portion ofh Brandies Street in conjunction with a sanitary landfill located along both8 sides of Brandies Street. �-J Property owners on both sides of Brandies and Ennis -Streets in the vicinity have been notified and none have objected to the proposed closing. City departments and private utility companies have reviewed this request and have no objections to the proposed vacation, provided an easement is retained centered on the existing 72 inch sanitary sewer main crossing said Brandies Street. The City Plan Commission has reviewed the proposed vacation and recommends adoption of an ordinance that has been prepared for the vacation of the street as requested and retaining the easement for the existing sanitary sewer main.
