AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT A PORTION OF BRYANT IRVIN
ROAD IN THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS,
BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE
REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDI-
NANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING THAT THIS
ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVELY IMMEDIATELY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the following described portion of Bryant Irvin Road be and the
same is hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated as a street or public
thoroughfare of any kind or character whatever:
Bryant Irvin Road (County Road No. 1018) across the Texas
and Pacific Railway Company right-of-way immediately east of
_the west line of the F. G. Beasley Headright Survey of Tarrant
County, Texas, and being more fully described as all that por-
tion of Bryant Irvin Road within the tract quitclaimed by the
City of Fort Worth to the Texas and Pacific Railway Company,
and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the west boundary line of the F.
G. Beasley Headright Survey, which point is 91.29 feet north of
the southwest corner of said F. G. Beasley Headright Survey;
THENCE north 690 441 east 150 feet;
THENCE north 335 feet, more or less, to the Texas and Paci-
fic Railway Company's north property line;
THENCE in a westerly direction with the Railway Company's
north property line on a line curving to the left with a 5792.2
foot radius, 1$0 feet, more or less, to the west boundary line
of the F. G. Beasley Headright Survey;
THENCE south with the west boundary line of the F. G.
Beasley Headright Survey 335 feet, more or less, to beginning
point.
SECTION 2.
That the fee to the land in said street is hereby released and will
revert to the adjacent owner as provided by law, subject to all existing
easements for utilities.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect
from and after the date of its passage.
