AN ORDINANCE FINDING THAT 1OR.E THAN A tAAJORITY OF ALL
THE PROPERTY 1YZERS AND PERSONS RESIDING WITHIN CERTAIN
TERRITORY ADJACENT AND CONTIGUOUS TO THE CITY OF FORT
WORTH, AND BEING BLOCKS 20 AND 21 OF Z. BOAZ COUNTRY
PLACE, OUT OF THE HAYS COVINGTON SURVEY, HAVE SIGNED A
PETITION IN WRITING REQUESTING THAT THE TERRITORY DE-
SCRIBED BY METES AND BOUNDS BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH; PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION OF SAID TERRI-
TORY; AND DESIGNATING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the City Council finds that the territory and area hereinafter
described in Section 2 is adjoining and contiguous to the corporate limits
of the City of Fort Worth; that more than a majority of all the property
owners and persons residing within said area who are qualified to vote for
members of the Legislature of the State of Texas have signed a petition in
writing describing said territory by metes and bounds, and have requested
the City Council of the City of Fort Worth, by an appropriate ordinance, to
annex and make said territory an integral part of the corporate limits of
the City of Fort Worth; and that said application has been duly presented
and considered in strict compliance with the provisions of Section 3, Chap-
ter I of the Charter of the City of Fort Worth, Texas,
SECTION 2.
That the following described territory is hereby annexed, brought
within the corporate limits and made an integral part of the City of Fort
Worth, said territory being situated in Tarrant County, Texas and being
described by metes and bounds as follows:
All of Block 20 of Z. Boaz Country Place and all of Block 21
of Z. Boaz Country Place, being the Baxter Revision of said
Block 21, together with all intervening and surrounding
streets, all being a portion of the Hays Covington Survey
and more particularly described as:

Beginning at a point in the present city limit line, said
point being 50 feet north of the northeast corner of Block
21, Z. Boaz Country Place, and being in the north line of
Dunn Place; thence west along the north line of Dunn Place
to a port in the west line of Marys Lane; thence south
along the west line of Marys Lane to a point in the south
line of Hays Street; thence east along the south line of
Hays Street to a point in the present city limit line,
said point being 50 feet south of the southeast corner of
Block 21, Z. Boaz Country Place; thence north along the
present city limit line and along the east line of Blocks
20 and 21, Z. Boaz Country Place, to the place of beginning.
SECTION 3.
That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after the date of its passage, and it is so ordained.

TO THE HONORA.BLE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
We, the undersigned, would respectfully represent that
we constitute more than a majority of the property owners and
residents of the territory hereinafter described and that we
are qualified to vote for members of the Legislature of Texas.
The said territory is situated in Tarrant County, Texas,
and described as follows:
All of Block 20 of Z. Boaz Country Place
and all of Block 21 of Z. Boaz Country
Place, being the Baxter Revision of said
Block 21 together with all intervening
and surrounding streets, all being a
portion of the Hays Covington Survey.
THEREFORE, we respectfully petition your Honorable Body
to enact such orders and ordinances as may be meet and requisite
to annex the above described territory and make it a part of the
corporate limits of the City of Fort Worth, Texas.
