AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND VACATING THE EIGHT FOOT
EAST WEST UTILITY EASEMENT ACROSS BLOCK 4, HIGH-
LAND HOMES ADDITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH,
TARRANT COUNTY, TEXAS; AND PROVIDING FOR THE RE-
VERSION OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH
IN SAID LAND.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the east west utility easement 8 feet in width
and 362.4 feet in length across Block 4, Highland Homes Addi-
tion to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, as re-
corded in Vol. 388-A, page 102, of the Plat Records of Tarrant
County, Texas, be and the same is hereby extinguished, vacated
closed and permanently abandoned as an easement for public
utilities.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee
to the land in said easement above described is hereby released
and shall revert to the adjacent owners of the fee as provided
by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.

!, Gandy and Day, et al, have requested the vacation of an east-west utility
easement 8 feet in width and 362.4 feet in length across Block 4, Highland
Homes Addition, as shown on the attached map. Subject easement is not
needed in its present location.
Private utility companies and City departments have reviewed this request
and do not object to the proposed vacation.
The City Plan Commission recommends the adoption of an ordinance vacating
the easement as requested.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the subject ease-
ment as recommended by- the City Plan Commission.
