AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS AND ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY LYING ADJACENT TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH: PROVIDING THAT THE ORDINANCE BE ADVERTISED IN A DAILY NEWSPAPER PUBLISHED IN SAID CITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 40, CHAPTER XXVIII OF THE CITY CHARTER: AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY CF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the hereinafter described territory lying adjacent to the City of Fort Worth is hereby annexed and brought within the corporate limits and made an integral part of said City of Fort Worth, said territory being sit- uated in Tarrant County, Texas, and being described by metes and bounds as follows: A tract of land adjacent to the City of Fort Worth known as the Eagle Club property out of the Jacob Wilcox Survey # 36 in Tarrant County, Texas, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of said tract of land, said point being approximately 7,087 feet east and 1311.2 feet north of the southwest corner of the said Jacob Wilcox Survey # 36, said point also being at City of Fort Worth Monument # 105: thence north 89 degrees 55 minutes east along the north line of said tract a distance of 1,965.5 feet to City of Fort Worth Monument # 108 for the northeast corner of said tract: thence south 42 degrees 30 minutes west along the easterly line of said tract a distance of 920 feet to City of Fort Worth Monument # 107 for the southeast corner of said tract: thence south 89 degrees 55 minutes west along the south line of said tract for a distance of 1,395 feet to City of Fort Worth Monument # 106 for the southwest cor- ner of said tract: thence north 0 degrees 05 minutes west along the westerly line of said tract for a distance of 676 feet to the place of beginning said point being City of Fort Worth Monument #105: and containing approximately 26 acres. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be published one time in The Fort Worth Press, a daily newspaper, published in the City of Fort Worth, in accordance with the provisions of Section 40, Chapter XXVIII of the City Charter. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall become effective and be in full force and effect upon its final passage which in no event shall be less than thirty (30) days from the date of its publication, and it is so ordained.
