AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE ALLEY IN BLACK 73, FOSTEPCO C►TTEXASFROM THEHEIGHTS NNO LINE OF TO THE CITY ONORORTHEASTR3H2NDTSTREET TO THEARRANT E FT. NORTH LINE OF LOT 6 IN SAID BLACK, BE ABANDONED, VACATED AND CLOSED; AND PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE TO SAID LAND. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the alley in Block 73, Fostepco Heights Addition to the City of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, from the north line of Northeast 32nd Street to the north line of Lot 6 in said Block 73, be and the same is here- by vacated, closed and permanently abandoned as an alley or public thorough- fare of any kind or character whatever. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in said alley above described is hereby re- leased and will revert to the owners as provided by law, save and except that easements are reserved for any or all existing utilities, including the existing sanitary sewer main and the storm drain. SECTION 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage. PW9— 173 November 13, 1959 No Honorable Mayor and 'Members of the City Council Re: Proposed closing of alley, City of Fort Worth Block 73, Fostepco Heights Addition Mrs. McKnight and Gentlemen: The Public Works Department has received a petition signed by all adjacent property owners requesting the closing of the remaining portion of the alley in Block 73, Fostepco Heights Addition. The purpose for this re- quest Is to consolidate the property owned by Markham Investment Corp. for the construction of a super market. A portion of this alley has previously been closed by Ordinance No. 2665 in March, 1949. The Public Works Department made an investigation of this request and Found no objections to this closing provided easements are reserved for the existing sanitary sewers and storm drain. The portion of the alley requested to be closed is assfollowsi The alley In Block 73, Fostepco Heights Addition from the north line of Northeast 32n4 Street to the north line of Lot 6, Block 73, Fostepco Heights Addition, save and except easements be reserved for any or al-I existing utilities in- cluding the existing sanitary sewer main and the storm drain.
