AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3011 , BEING AN ORDINANCE TO REGULATE AND TO RESTRICT THE
LOCATION AND USE OF BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES, AND LAND FOR TRADE, INDUSTRY, RESIDENCES, OR OTHER
PURPOSES; THE HEIGHT, NUMBER OF STORIES AND SIZE OF BUILDING; AND OTHER STRUCTURES: THE SIZE
OF YARDS AND OTHER OPEN SPACES; OFF-STREET PAR0 NG AND LOADING AND THE DENSITY OF POPULATION;
AND FOR SAID PURPOSES TO DIVIDE THE MUNICIPALITY INTO DISTRICTS OF SUCH NUMBER, SHAPE AND AREA
AS MAY BE DEEMED BEST BY FIXING DEFINITE USES OF THE BUILDINGS HEREINAFTER ERECTED IN SAID
DESCRIBED AREAS FROM THE USES AS SHOWN ON THE MAPS CONTAINED IN SAID ORDINANCE NO. 3011 ; PRE-
SCRIBING A SAVINGS CLAUSE; PROVIDING A FINE OF NOT LESS THAN $5.00 NOR MORE THAN $200.00 FOR
EACH OFFENSE, AND THAT EACH DAY THAT A VIOLATION IS PERMITTED TO EXIST SHALL CONSTITUTE A
SEPARATE OFFENSE; AND NAMING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That Ordinance No. 3011 be amended so that the following described uses in the hereinafter
described area be altered, changed and amended as follows to wit:
Z-71-25 BEGINNING at a point for corner, said point being the intersection of the centerline
of North Main Street and the westerly projection of the north boundary line of
Block 1, Airline Instruments Addition as recorded in the plat records of Tarrant
County, Texas, at Volume 388-23, Page 1 ;
THENCE, northerly and northwesterly along and with the centerline of North Main
Street to a point for corner, said point being the intersection of the centerline
of North Main Street and the north line of the S.A. & M.G. RR Survey, Abstract
No. 1464;
THENCE, east along and with the north line of the S.A. & M.G. RR Survey, Abstract
No. 1464, a distance of approximately 5,250 feet to a point for corner, said point
being the intersection of said survey line and the centerline of Blue Mound Road
(County Road No. 156);
THENCE, south along and with the centerline of Blue Mound Road (County Road No. 156)
to a point for corner, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Blue
Mound Road and the north line of the Fort Worth and Denver Railroad Company right-
of-way, said line being the mutual common boundary line of the City of Fort Worth
and the City of Saginaw;
THENCE, west along and with the north line of the Fort Worth and Denver R.R. Co.
right-of-way, the same being the mutual common boundary line of the City of Fort
Worth and the City of Saginaw, a distance of approximately 1,445 feet to a point for
corner, said point being the westernmost point of said mutual common boundary line;
THENCE, south along and with said mutual common boundary line of the City of Fort
Worth and the City of Saginaw to a point for corner, said point being the intersec-
tion of said common boundary with the south property line of the Fort Worth and
Denver R.R. Co right-of-way, said south line also being a mutual common boundary
line of the City of Fort Worth and the City of Saginaw;
THENCE, east along and with said south line of the Fort Worth and Denver R. R. Co.
right-of-way, said line also being the mutual common boundary line of the City of
Fort Worth and the City of Saginaw, a distance of approximately 28 feet to a point
for corner, said point being the intersection of said railroad right-of-way with
the west line of Tract 4-B, W. B. Tucker Survey, Abstract No. 1515, as shown on
City of Fort Worth Tax Map No. 24-A on May 12, 1971;
THENCE, south along and with the said west line of Tract 4-B, W. B. Tucker Survey,
Abstract No. 1515, as shown on City of Fort Worth Tax Map No. 24-A on May 12, 1971,
a distance of approximately 2,320 feet to a point for corner, said point being the
intersection of said west tract line with the centerline of Terminal Road;
THENCE, west and southwesterly along and with the centerline of Terminal Road to a
point for corner, said point being the intersection of the centerline of Terminal
Road and the common right-of-way line of the Gulf, Colorado & Santa Fe Railroad

THENCE, west along and with said south line of the Fort Worth and Denver Railroad
right-of-way, said line being the mutual common boundary line of the City of Fort
Worth and the City of Saginaw, a distance of approximately 1,417 feet to a point
for corner, said point being the intersection of said south line of the railroad

Z-71-61 A tract of land being a portion of Lot 1, Block 94, Western Hills Addition to the
City of Fort Worth and being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the most westerly corner of Lot 1, Block 94, said point being at the
intersection of the east right-of-way line of Glen Rock and the north right-of-way
line of Calmont Avenue; Thence S 890 11 ' E 479.46 feet to a point; Thence S 46' 04'
W 300.0 feet to a point in the northeasterly right-of-way line of Calmont Avenue;
Thence N 43' 56' W 141 .24 ft. to the beginning of a curve to the left whose center
bears S 460 04' W 497.01 feet, thence along said curve in a northwesterly direction
thru a central angle of 250 13' a distance of 218.74 feet to the point of beginning
and containing 1 .08 acres of land, more or less.

SECTION 2.
The zoning regulations and districts, as herein established, have been made in accordance with
the comprehensive plan for the purpose of promoting health, safety, morals and the general
Welfare of the community. They have been designed to lessen congestion in the streets; to
secure safety from fire, panic, flood and other dangers; to provide adequate light and air;
to prevent overcrowding of land; to avoid undue concentration of population; to facilitate
the adequate provisions of transportation, water, sewerage, parks and other public require-
ments. They have been made after a full and complete public hearing with reasonable considera-
tion among other things, of the character of the district and its peculiar suitability for
the particular uses and with a view of conserving the value of buildings and encouraging the
most appropriate use of land throughout the community.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall be cumulative of all other ordinances of the City of Fort Worth affecting
zoning and shall not repeal any of the provisions of said ordinances except in those instances
where provisions of those ordinances are in direct conflict with the provisions of this
ordinance.
SECTION 4.
Should any section, clause or provision of this ordinance be declared by the court to be in-
valid, the same shall. not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any part thereof,
other than the part so declared to be invalid.
SECTION 5.
Any person, firm or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply
with or who resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined
not less than Five and No/100 Dollars ($5.00) nor more than Two Hundred and No/100 Dollars
($200.00) for each offense. Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute
a separate offense.
SECTION 6.
This ordinance will take effect and be in full force and effect from and after its passage
and publication as required by law.
