dedicated, but unimproved and unopened, portion of East Morphy Street
begins at the west service road of the Poly Freeway at a point 80 feet north
WAM of Rea Street and extends a distance of approximately 200 feet westerly to
the point where the improved portions of Rea Street and Morphy Street inter-

the future. Therefore, a confusing "on-the-ground" condition can be remedied
by renaming Rea Street to East Morphy Street. See attached map.
The four residences facing Rea Street have been notified and are in favor of
this street name change. The Police, Fire, Traffic, Public Works, and Water
Departments of the City and the Postmaster have reviewed this request and
have no objections.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted changing the name of Rea
Street, from the Poly Freeway to East Morphy Street, to East Morphy Street.
