HomeMy WebLinkAboutContract 28920-A1 CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT NO.., � AMENDMENT No. 1 I TO CITY SECRETARY CONTRACT +' EAS, the City of Fort Worth (CITY) and Hunter Associates Texas Ltd. d/b/a TRC Solutions, (ENGINEER) made and entered into City Secretary Contract No. 28920, (the CONTRACT) which was authorized by MSC C-19648 on the 8t' day of July, 2003 in the amount of $62, 638.00; and WHEREAS, the CONTRACT involves engineering services for the following project: Water and Sanitary Sewer Replacement Contract 2003, STM-F; and WEIMEAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. I to the CONTRACT to include an increased scope of work and revised fee. NOW THEBEFOBE, CITY and ENGINEER, acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement, which amends the CONTRACT: 1. Article I of the CONTRACT is amended to include the additional engineering services specified in a proposal dated December 7, 2011, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional design services to be performed by Engineer totals $36,335.00 (Water: $25,140.00; Sewer: $11,215.00) . 2. Article II of the CONTRACT is amended to provide for an increase in the fee to be paid to Engineer for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total fee paid by the City for all work and services shall be an amount of $98,993.00. torrICIAL ID ECORS �CY.WOR RF Page -1- 3. TX 76102 RE: Amendment No. 1 Proposal(Revised) Water and Sanitary Sewer Replacement Contract 2003 STM-F City Secretary Contract No.28920 DOE No. 4061 Water Project No. PW53-060530177770 Sewer Project No.PS58-070580176100 Dear Mr. Chaubey, In accordance with your request, TRC Engineers, Inc. is providing this amendment proposal with respect to the above referenced contract. The amendment is needed in order to update the existing plans as previously started, and bring them to completion in accordance with current City of Fort Worth criteria. TRC will then assist through the construction advertisement and construction program as per the original contract scope. The project scope includes water and sanitary sewer replacements along 4 separate street segments. These are summarized as follows: • Grayson Street from Nolan to Vaughn(Project Length=850 linear feet), c Water Line Replacement • Hampshire Boulevard from Canton to Tension.(Project Length= 800 linear feet); a Water Line Replacement o Sanitary Sewer Line Replacement Mr. Rakesh Chaubev. December 7,201 1 Page 2 of 3 a Hangar Avenue from Vaughn to dead end(Project Length 4 1.500 linear feet); * Water Line Replacement c Sanitary Sewer Line Replacement Coordination with Street Reconstruction Plan Development e Little John Avenue from Vogt to Miller(Project Length= 1,600 linear feet); o Water Line Replacement o Sanitary Sewer Line Replacement Field conditions for each location will be reviewed to confirm accurate representation on the plan drawings, Additionally, it is understood that Hangar Avenue is presently under design for pavement reconstruction by a separate consultant. The utility design improvements for this street segment will be coordinated with the pavement construction plans in order to avoid conflicts between these two construction components. Additionally, the supporting plan sheets and documents (i.e.; General Notes, Location Maps, Details, Specifications, etc.) will be updated to meet current City criteria and to match with the designs as developed to completion. Amendment No. 1 - Fee Summary Our fee summary for each of the main components included in the construction document completion under this amendment is presented as follows: 1. General—Records review,supporting plan sheet updates, contract document and specification updates: $6,634.00 2. Meetings—Client review, Pre-Construction: $ 1722.00 3. Grayson Street— Water Line Replacement. $11,084.00 4, Hampshire Boulevard--Water Line Replacement: $ 1,935.00 - Sanitary Sewer Line Replacement: $ 1,935.00 5. Hangar Avenue—Water Line Replacement: $4,368.00 - Sanitary Sewer Line Replacement: $ 3,520.00 6. Little John Avenue—Water Line Replacement: $ 3,870.00 - Sanitary Sewer Line Replacement: $ 3,870.00 7.
