RE: Amendment No. 2 Proposal

City Secretary Contract No. 28920
DOE No. 4061
Water Project No. PW53-060530177770
Sewer Project No. PS58-070580176100
Dear Mr. Chaubey,
In accordance with your request, TRC Engineers, Inc. is providing this amendment proposal
with respect to the above referenced contract. The amendment is needed in order to provide
additional paving grades for one of the affected streets and to update the project contract
documents and specifications in accordance with recently adopted new format criteria.
Specific information concerning these two services is provided as follows:
Littlejohn Avenue Pavement Grades
It was recently determined that Littlejohn Avenue, between Vogt and Miller requires
replacement of full paving and curbing following installation of new water and sanitary
sewer lines, due to the deteriorated condition of the street section in this area that has now
occurred. TRC will develop profile grades for the street section and will incorporate this
information into the construction plans. Pavement grades will be provided over a distance of
approximately 1,800 linear feet. Additional funds for data review, field verification, and
design are required.
Contract Document/Specification Update
The City has recently revised the formatting of the contract documents and specifications for
Water Department Projects. TRC had previously prepared these documents under the old
format that has been discontinued. Additional funds to download, format, and assemble the
documents for the specific project are required.
