ALFORD, HIS HEIRS AND ASSIGNS, TO LEAVE THE EXISTING BUILDING ENCROACH- MENT A MAXIMUM DISTANCE OF .25 FEET AND ITY ST STEPS ENCROACHMENT A MAXIMUM DISTANCE OFI` FEET IN CALHOUN STREET ALONG THE WEST LINE OF isUT 3, IN BLOCK 87, ORIGINAL TOWN OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS, AND THE EXISTING BUILDING ENCROACHMENT A MAXIMUM DISTANCE OF .25 FEET PD ITS SOUTH STEPS ENCROACHMENT A MAXIMUM DISTANCE OF 1r_ FEET IN EAST FIFTH STREET ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF LOT 3, BLOCK 87, ORIGINAL TOWN OF FORT WORTH„TEXAS; REPEALING ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT AND SPECIFYING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, E. B. ALFORD is the owner of Lot No. 3 in Block No. 87, Original Town of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, along the South and West lines of which property encroachments exist in East Fifth Street and Calhoun Street; NOW, THEREFORE: BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH: SECTION I. That E. B. Alford, the owner of said land above described and the improvements thereon, and his heirs and assigns, be permitted to leave the existing building encroachment for a maximum distance of .25 Feet and its West steps encroachment a maximum distance of 4 26-Feet in Calhoun Street along the West line of said Lot 3, Block 87, Original Town of Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas, and the existing building encroachment a maximum dis- tance of .25 Feet and its South steps encroachment a maximum distance of • Feet in East Fifth Street along the South line of said Lot 3, Block 87, Original Town of Fort Worth# Tarrant County, Texas; and that said improvement on said above described real property be allowed to stand during the life of said building as same are now constructed, provided, however, that in the event such building be demolished or major alterations and repairs be made to said building in the future, same be reconstructed to meet the requirement of the limits of the above Streets. SECTION II. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provision of this ordinance are hereby expressly repealed. SECTION III. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect from and after the date of its passage and it is so ordained. JA APPROVED AS TO F City Attorney I, E. S. BIRDSONG, City Secretary of the City of Fort Worth,'Texas, do hereby certify that the above and foregoing ordinance was duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council in the Council Chamber at the City Hall held on May `, 1950.
