The Director of Public Works, City of Fort Worth, with consent of abutting
Re*n I L"1113roperty owners, has requested that the City vacate surplus right-of-way
on Arch Adams Street adjacent to Lots 1 & 20, Block 7, Wm. J. Bailey Addn.
as shown on the attached map. Subject right-of-way, acquired by dedication,
is surplus as a result of the realignment and improvement of Arch Adams
Street.
The reviewing City departments and private utility companies have no
objections to this request provided the Applicant replats and retains
the vacated right-of-way as a utility easement from existing 6" gas
feeder main. Such a replat has been submitted. The City Plan Commission
has reviewed this request and recommends adoption of an ordinance vacating
the public right-of-way as requested.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject right-of-
way as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
