AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THE PORTION OF LITTLE
STREET FROM THE SOUTH RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF TAR-
RANT ROAD TO THE NORTH RIGHT OF WAY LINE OF
EAST BERRY STREET BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND
CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE IN-
TEREST OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the portion of Little Street from the south right
of way line of Tarrant Road to the north right of way line
of East Berry Street be and the same is hereby closed, aban-
doned and permanently vacated as a street or public thorough-
fare of any kind or character whatever.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the
fee to the land in said street is hereby released and shall
revert to the adjacent owner of the fee as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.

DATE REFERENCE SUBJECT: Vacation of Little Street from PAGE
GRAM M NUMBER Tarrant Road to East Berry 1
3/17/69 P2-324 Street (V-68-38) for
Haydn Cutler Co.., with consent of all adjoining property owners, has requested
that the City Council vacate Little Street from the south right-of-way line
of Tarrant Road to the north right-of-way line of East Berry Street.
Subject right-of-way, acquired by dedication, is not open on the ground.
The applicant intends to replat the vacated right-of-way with the adjoining
property to expand the building area and provide additional off street
parking.
City departments and private utility companies have reviewed this request
and have no objections provided the applicant plats the vacated right-of-!-
way with adjoining property.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends adoption
of an ordinance vacating the public right-of--way as requested, and the
applicant has submitted a replat as required.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the subject right-
of-way as recommended by the City Plan Commission.
