September 16, 1%0f TARY
Honorable Mayor and `
Members of the City Council Re: Street Name Change of
City of Fort Worth Ellis Road
Mrs. McKnight and Gentlemen:
Due to the recent dedication of a portion of Ryanwood Addition there now
exists two Ellis Roads which run parallel approximately 2500 _feet west of
Sandy Lane. The newly dedicated streot was named Ellis Road because the
old County Road off-set to the north and did not formulate a desirable
street'pattern.
It is the opinion of the Public Forks Department and the Planning Depart-
ment that the east-west section of Ellis Road which is in alignment with
Yolanda Drive be changed to Yolanda Drive, and that the north-south portion
Cf Ellis Road be changed to Vau joy Ottva.
It is recommended that the -necessary ordinance be adopted to change the
street naise of the original E-Ills Road along the north line of Ryanwood
Addition and extending 2500 feet west 6f Sandy Lane to Yolanda Drive and
the nort south- portion of Ellis Road along the west line of Ryanwood
Addition be changed to 'B-! .
Respectfully submitted,
