' ' AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT THAT PORTION OF RIPY STREET LYING AND BEING BETWEEN BLOCK 6 AND BLOCK 7, SOUTH FORT WORTH AD- DITION, AND EXTENDING FROM THE EAST LINE OF JENNINGS AVENUE TO THE WEST LINE OF THE MISSOURI, KANSAS AND TEXAS RAILROAD RIGHT OF WAY, SAID PORTION BEING SIXTY (60) FEET IN WIDTH BY ONE HUNDRED (100) FEET IN LENGTH, BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED; PROVIDING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE FEE IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE- WITH; AND PROVIDING THAT THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY. WHEREAS, the following portion of Ripy Street has never been used by the public and constitutes a menace to the public travel and should be closed, vacated and abandoned: That portion of Ripy Street lying and being be- tween Block 6 and Block 7, South Fort Worth Ad- dition, and extending from the east line of Jen- nings Avenue to the west line of the Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railroad right of way, said por- tion being 60 feet in width by 100 feet in length; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT'ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TEXAS: SECTION 1. That the following portion of Ripy Street be and the same is hereby closed, abandoned and permanently vacated as a street or public thoroughfare of any kind or character whatever: That portion of Ripy Street lying and being be- tween Block 6 and Block 7, South Fort Worth Ad- dition, and extending from the east line of Jen- nings Avenue to the west line of the Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railroad right of way, said por- tion being 60 feet in width by 100 feet in length. SECTION 2. That the fee to the land in said street shall revert as provided by law. SECTION 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are here- by repealed. SECTION 4.
