The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends that the subject right-ef-way be vacated as requested provided that the vacated right- of-way is replatted with adjoining property. The Plan Commission also required that easements are retained for existing utilities, the street is physically closed with standard curb and gutter or reduced to a driveway approach at Riverside Drive, and that the alley is physically closed with standard curb and gutter at Powell Street when street improvements are made. These requirements have now been satisfied. Recommendation It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating the subject right-af- way as requested.
