ORDINANCE GATE V-66— 3MEETING 24 1966 NUMBER EFFECTIVE CITY PLANNING DEPARTMENT FORT WORTH, TEXAS City of Fort Worth, Texas Mayor and Council Communication -owoo '0�,l DATE REFERENCE SUBJECT: Vacation of a Portion of Wayside PAGE NUMBER Street and the Alley in Block 5 1 M►` 10/31/66 PzT of Prospect Heights Addition 212 i of IES� Mrs. Hazel Prince Teddlie, owner of all adjoining property, has requested the vacation of the west 38 feet of Wayside Street, between Hagler Street and West Lowden, and the alley between lots 1 and 2, block 5, Prospect Heights Addition, as shown on the attached map. This request is made since the alley is not open and is no longer needed, and Wayside Street has been realigned, leaving an ex- cessive parkway (48 feet) adjoining Mrs. Teddlie's property. Private utility companies and City departments have reviewed the request and do not object to the proposed vacation. The City Plan Commission reviewed the request and recommended adoption of an ordinance vacating the street and alley as requested, provided the applicant filed a replat of the street, alley and adjoining property. A subdivision plat has been filed which is acceptable to the City Plan Commission. City Council action on the City Plan Commission's recommendation is requested. JLB:lp Attach.
