AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING THAT A PORTION OF CROMWELL
STREET ADJACENT TO LOT 19, BLOCK 46, GLENWOOD AD-
DITION TO THE CITY OF FORT WORTH, TARRANT COUNTY,
TEXAS, BE VACATED, ABANDONED AND CLOSED; PROVID-
ING FOR THE REVERSION OF THE INTEREST OF THE CITY
OF FORT WORTH IN SAID LAND; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
FORT WORTH, TEXAS:
SECTION 1.
That the following described portion of Cromwell Street
be and the same is hereby closed, abandoned and permanently
vacated as a street or public thoroughfare of any kind or char-
acter whatever, save and except that easements are reserved for
drainage and any and all existing Btilftigs-t
Beginning at a point in the west right-of-way
line of Cromwell Street, said point also being
the northeast corner of Lot 19, Block 46, Glenwood
Addition;
Thence N. 79 degrees 21 minutes 30 seconds E.
a distance of 62.45 feet along the T. & P. RR right-
of-way to a point, being the northwest corner of
Block 49, Glenwood Addition;
Thence S. 7 degrees 10 minutes E. along the
west line of Block 49, Glenwood Addition, a dis-
tance of 143.05 feet to the beginning of a curve
whose center bears S. 82 degrees 50 minutes W. 50.0
feet;
Thence northwesterly with said curve a distance
of 89.22 feet to a point in the easterly line of
said Lot 19, Block 46, Glenwood Addition;
Thence N. 8 degrees 16 minutes W. with said
easterly line of Lot 19, 90.42 feet to the point of
beginning.
SECTION 2.
That the interest of the City of Fort Worth in the fee
to the land in said street is hereby released and shall revert
to the adjacent owner of the fee as provided by law.
SECTION 3.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con-
flict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4.
That this ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force and effect from and after the date of its passage.

ROBINSON BIL kRDJ F. Loughridge, Esco Elevators, Inc. , owner of all abutting property, has re-
quested that the City vacate Cromwell Street in the 100 block as shown on,the
attached map.
The subject right-of-way, acquired by dedication, is open and hard surfaced with-
out curb and gutter. City departments and private utility companies have reviewed
this request and offer no objections provided the right-of-way is replatted with
abutting property, dedicate right-of-way for turn-around at north and of remaining
Cromwell Street and easements for drainage and utilities are retained as required.
A satisfactory replat has been received by the City staff.
The City Plan Commission has reviewed this request and recommends adoption of an
ordinance vacating the public right-of-way as requested.
Recommendation
It is recommended that an ordinance be adopted vacating subject right-of-way as
recommended by the City Plan Commission,
