COUNTY OF TARRANT §
WHEREAS, the City of Fort Worth (City) and Halff Associates, Inc., (Engineer) made and
entered into City Secretary Contract No. 31529 (the Contract) which was authorized by the City
Council by M&C C-20557 on the 8t' day of March, 2005; and
WHEREAS, the Contract involves engineering services for the following project:
Street Reconstruction, Water and Sewer Replacement on Robin-Denver Storm Drain
Reconstruction, 2004 CIP Major Storm Drain Projects,
Project No. 00086; DOE No. 4895
Water Project No. P253-6021700086
Sewer Project No. P253-7021700086
TPW Project No. C200-2024000086
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to execute Amendment No. 2 to said Contract to
include an increased scope of work and revised maximum fee;
NOW THEREFORE, City and Engineer, acting herein by and through their duly-
authorized representatives, enter into the following agreement which amends the Contract:
1.
Article I of the Contract is amended to include the additional engineering services as
specified in a proposal letter dated November 2nd, 2007, a copy of which is attached hereto and
incorporated herein. The cost to City for the additional services to be performed by Engineer
total $8,000.
2.
Article II of the Contract is amended to provide for an increase in the maximum fee to be paid to
Engineer for all work and services performed under the Contract, as amended, so that the total
fee paid by the City for all work and services shall not exceed the sum of $ 151,370.

All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly amended herein, shall remain in full
force and effect.

Dear Mr.Bergeron:
In response to your request, Halff Associates is pleased to present this Amendment for additional services for
design changes to the Robin-Denver Storm Drain Rehabilitation. Amendment No. 2 covers the following
additional services:
• Redesign of approximately 580 linear feet of storm drain per COFW request
• Redesign of approximately 580 linear feet of storm drain per gas company/electric company
request(as provided by COFW)
• Redesign of approximately 650 linear feet of M-BR* and 30 linear feet of L-899 sanitary sewer per
COFW request
• Redesign of approximately 650 linear feet of M-BR* and 30 linear feet L-899 sanitary sewer per
gas company/electric company request(as provided by COFW)
• Resubmittal of two.(2)copies of seven(7)plan and profile sheets per COFW request
• Resubmittal of three(3)copies of seven(7)plan and profile sheets per gas and electric request
A summary of the proposed budget for this revised amendment is as follows:
Storm drain and sanitary sewer redesign/submittal $8,000.00
TOTAL PROPOSED AMENDMENT NO.2 $8,000.00
In accordance with the City of Fort Worth M/WBE participation goal, the anticipated M/WBE utilization for
Amendment No. 2 is 0%; overall M/WBE participation including Amendment No. 2 is 18.6%. Attached are
Summary of Total Project Fees and Estimated Construction Costs (formatted in accordance with Exhibits B-3
and B-3A of the original contract).

additional information regarding this proposal and our proposed M/WBE utilization for the referenced project.
